A Short Summary of the German ContentsComputer Club Kaufbeuren (KKK)
This is the homepage of a small but well-known "Computer Club" in southern Bavaria (Germany). The German "KKK" stands for "Komputer Klub Kaufbeuren". We have nothing to do with American organizations with the same abbreviation. In fact "Komputer" is not correct in the German language, it is written "Computer" like everywhere else. The "Klub" (this spelling is possible in German) was founded in 1985 by a few citizens of Kaufbeuren who were confronted with computers either by professional needs or by making them a hobby. Meanwhile the KKK comprises nearly 30 members.
Kaufbeuren is a town with about 40,000 inhabitants located approximately 60 miles west of Munich and 20 miles north of the famous Neuschwanstein castle. More precisely: longitude 10° 37.5' East, latitude 47° 53' North
